I’m Alexandra, an aspiring author.
I was born in Adelaide, South Australia, with a passion for storytelling. I remember writing my first story at eight years old on a decrepit typewriter my mum bought at a neighbour’s garage sale. Transferring my wild thoughts to paper with no creative limitation quickly consumed me, and thus I began my journey to becoming a writer in horror, dystopian, and fantasy.
I graduated from Flinders University with a double degree of Business (Innovation and Enterprise) and Letters (Creative Writing) in 2023. My time at university pushed me to write outside of my comfort zone, and I even had a go at writing, illustrating, and self-publishing a children’s book as part of an innovation class which sold over 40 copies!
I am looking to break into the advertising industry as a creative copywriter while I work on my first novel.
